A government school principal has banned the Pledge of Allegiance in his school. Not because he objected to the term “Under God,” but he was afraid the Pledge would offend Muslims. Because, apparently, there is no God in Islam:
At least one Muslim community leader says he feels the same way. Muhammad Najieb says that ‘God’ is central to the Muslim faith, and there are several references to him in every prayer.
Islam is a monotheistic religion, just like Christianity. This multi-culti nit wit has not only offended Muslims with his ignorance, but has actually “caused hurt feelings, and may foster bitterness and division within the community.”
Which goes back to Jim Quinn’s First Law: Liberalism always generates the exact opposite of its stated intent.
Each morning, my kids start their schoolday with the Pledge. There is no government knucklehead there to tell me they can’t say it because it might offend some protected class or group. Yet another benefit of homeschooling.

A one-man political wrecking machine, Duane was not always such a
strong conservative. He did not always see things from through the
filters of a right wing/libertarian belief system. Now he does.
Duane grew up in the midwest, the son of two staunch Democrats. He
served in the military overseas and has since moved back to the Midwest
after touring around the world. He has a wife and four children. He has
a big head.
I’m tired of writing in the third person. God bless America.

I don't really care if there are immigrants from other countries here AS LONG as they don't CHANGE our way of life as AMERICANS !!
WHERE WILL IT END ?
Anyone for doing away with the DOE?

You have to be kidding.. Elk Grove CA does not say the pledge, this silly school will not say the pledge for fear of making someone upset. They upset me! Does that count? Married for 14 years now to a Military man. He serves his country,so these idiots can
Always, you are ever vigilant with your research and prolific posting. It's like you and JudgeBob and a few others have full-time jobs studying the laws, studyiing the issues of the day and then bringing critical analysis with references. One ongoing term-paper :) I admire your tenacity and courage. I saw so many posts of yours I wish I had had the time to read. But will come back.
Let me also take a moment to make a public apology here. I can get very passionate about my beliefs as many here do. At times, I may frame them in a way that is not empowering or respects the blogger's knowledge. I know everyone can "t off" at opposing views framed in nasty ways. And I'm one.
But a while back (I'd post it there if I could find it), you were generous and kind in response to my comments to your post. And I let passion overtake respectful comment. I wasn't nasty or name calling, but I wasn't respectful of your knowledge. For that, because of how we may disagree, but respect each other immensely and I know I learn from both sides of issues and from you as representing one side, I apologize for my phrasing. I wrote you a private email, but I thought I'd post here. I just can't find the post you made that I responded to where the clean up would be relevant.
